Please be careful if you decide to write your own CV.  There is a significant amount of misinformation and poor advice regarding CV content, targeting, presentation, formatting etc.  There are also people who are all too willing to give help and advice - again this is dangerous as it will probably be "general advice" and not "person specific". This is a guide and it should not be considered entirely the right advice for you and your approach to the job market.
