MOD UK (Afghanistan and Iraq):

Managed all logistics functions (coordinating provision, forecasting, planning, scheduling, distribution and procurement) for national and international operations with a focus on safe strategic, supply chain management for 600 personnel, 300 vehicles and associated stores with a value in excess over £50 million.
All planned logistic operations were achieved on time and within budget.
Improved overall efficiencies by planning and developing new reliable processes.

Reviewed and rewrote the Health and Safety policy to incorporate significant changes in equipment, personnel and other enforced changes (In line with Policy and Political Strategy).

Led the creation of new HSE management systems (Safe Systems of Work), managed change and transition.

Reduced incident, accident rates and near misses by establishing robust risk management monitoring procedures.

Created a stronger more positive HSE culture.

Significantly raised consistency and quality of the HSE induction training and contractor management programmes.

Implemented Environmental Management Systems (EMS) in order to comply with current legislation.
